Brett and I decided to go to St. Lucia for our Honeymoon! We had a wonderful time. It was nice to get away from Seattle weather in January. We stayed at the Sandals Regency near the capital city of Castries. There were 7 restaurants and 5 pools with 2 swim up bars. Brett enjoyed the local beer, Piton, which is named after the signature mountains on the island. I pretty much drank any drink with a banana in it. Here are some pictures we wanted to share with everyone.

Here is the room we stayed in. We had our own patio with a beautiful view of the ocean.
There were 2 other Sandals resorts on the island. They were just a bus ride away. We enjoyed dinner at the Sandals Grande Restaurant called "Barefoot by the Sea".

Sandals put on a carnival street fair one night. We enjoyed authentic Caribbean food while watching live entertainment.

One of our favorite memories from the trip was the Joe's knows tour. We were able to see the island by boat and traveled up the volcano.
We made a stop in Marigot Bay. Part of Pirates of the Caribbean and Dr. Dolittle were filmed there. We also so vacation homes of several celebrities, including George Forman and Mick Jagger.

Out trip wouldn't have been complete without experiencing the mud and sulfur baths.
There were two restaurants at the resort that required reservations. Here we are enjoying a wonderful dinner at "La Toc".
Sandals also had a Beach Party night with more live entertainment and dinner.
Here we are enjoying our last dinner on the Island. We had a wonderful time, but our trip went by way too fast.
