Brett and I decided to head north this weekend for the Tulip Festival in the Skagit Valley. This was my first experience, but Brett used to meet his aunt and uncle at the tulip festival when he was younger. We weren't sure if the weather was going to hold out because it was raining off and on during our drive from Everett to Mt. Vernon. Lucky for us it didn't start raining again until we got in the car and headed home. We stopped at Tulip Town to walk around and take some pictures. Afterwords, we drove around and admired other tulip and daffodil fields in the area. We had a wonderful time. Here are a few pictures we wanted to share with everyone.
We couldn't resist taking pictures next to the tulips with our school colors.
Go Huskies!
